RuPaul continues to build a guided, tea-spilling empire like no other, with the mother of modern drag launching a new edition of the beloved reality show RuPaul's Drag Race in the UK later this year.

The first series promises the same format as the US edition we know and love—and features a former Haligonian in the running for the crown. Colin Munro—stepchild of local poet-of-note Sue Goyette— sports a pageboy haircut so sharp it'll cut and highlighter so bold it needn't even be blended. Living in the UK for a decade, Munro—who simply goes by Crystal onstage—told the BBC earlier today in an announcement about the series that viewers can expect a show filled with aerial circus and whip-cracking: "I put cigarettes out on my tongue—it's a freak show."

Werk indeed.
