With three locations in Metro and one on the Bedford Highway, it seems Smitty’s pretty much has the breakfast scene covered. So what is it about this place that gets people revved up? “You get big portions for your dollar,” says Lori, a server at the Tower Road Smitty’s. According to Lori, bacon and eggs are the most popular item on the breakfast menu, although not everyone makes it in before high noon: “We get a lot of students in here, and eating breakfast in the afternoon seems to be a pretty popular thing to do.”
