Best Bartender

Zach Shave, Seahorse Tavern

The 26-year-old bartender has been mixing drinks for four years now and has only good things to say about his workplace of two years, the Seahorse. “It’s a great place to work. There’s no stress, so you can give the people what they want and focus on hospitality,” says Shave. Next time you’re there, ask Shave for a Crazyhorse, something he says he’s “pretty good at”---gin, peach Schnapps, lemonade and cran. If cocktails aren’t your style, Shave can get you a pint of the tavern’s signature beer---Horsepower!

First Runner-up: Tina Brennan, Finbar’s Irish Pub
Second Runner-up: Bill McLean, Mexicali Rosa’s
