New to the craft, Shane Beehan has only been bartending for a year and a half. “I’m completely humbled,” he says. “I thought I hadn’t been doing this long enough to build such a strong reputation.” Shaking, stirring and neatly pouring boozy libations at Field Guide, Beehan runs the bar. He says though Halifax’s cocktail culture is young our city is saturated with plenty of talented mixologists, eager to serve up quality concoctions. “I have them to thank for putting us on the map.”
