That's gold, Jerry, gold | Music | Halifax, Nova Scotia | THE COAST

As Seinfeld demonstrated, good mentors can teach you about risk management or making jokes about Ovaltine, but they can also teach you how to be better film, TV and new-media producers. Film Nova Scotia is co-sponsoring the Canadian Film and Television Association Atlantic Mentorship Program. Last year the pilot program teamed up Shotgun's Jason Eisener and Jeff Coll (associate producer on Chaz Thorne's Just Buried) with Arcadia Entertainment and Standing 8 Productions respectively, for a 26-week internship. So if you're a mid-level producer interested in learning from wise ones like John Wesley Chisholm or Thorne, visit film.ns.ca before the May 15 deadline.
