Break out the party hats

Penelope’s Boutique (5685 Cunard Street, 420-9164) is turning two this Saturday, April 6. To celebrate, the second-hand women’s shop is inviting customers to take advantage of last-chance winter discounts and get an early peak at the new spring collection. The vintage-inspired store, which buys and sells gently used clothing, opened in 2010 and sells everything from winter casual wear to prom dresses. And what’s a birthday without cake? Not much, so between 1 and 4pm cupcakes from Frosting Cake & Event Design will be served—and yes, everyone is invited.
