Andrew Younger:

"I don't think Ben McCrea's bluffing," Younger said. "He's losing $250,000 a year on these buildings...
By this logic, I'm losing a billion dollars a year because the city won't let me build a nuclear power plant in my back yard.

Or, if the argument is that McCrea is "losing" the money because he is paying property taxes on the buildings, then I'm losing a few thousand every year because I'm not allowed to tear down my house and build a rendering plant.

This is an American-style right-wing talking point: find the absolute worst use for your property, then when the government denies you the right to do that on the property, you claim it as a "taking." It's a bullshit argument.
