Critical issues: community development, transportation, youth engagement and the environment
About
Lorelei has lived in Cole Harbour for 22 years, has been a Beavers Leader, and participated in other volunteer activities, including chair and organizer of the Cole Harbour Harvest Festival and Auburn Drive School Advisory Council.Goals and Issues
She says the residents of Cole Harbour are very interested in the development of downtown Halifax, and HRM by Design---HRM's framework for development for the next TK years. Though I doubt this is the case, I applaud the enthusiasm.Nicholl proposes the creation of a community development association, which she says will combine resources of community organizations, business groups and government programs active in Cole Harbour.
She also proposes better transit between her area and Cherry Brook and Eastern Passage, and extension of area roads, while maintaining controlled access to other quiet suburban streets. Within this plan, she'd also propose a bike trail, and a streetscape plan for Cole Harbour Road.
Affiliations
She says she has no political party affiliations.Source
