BioBlitz

A 24 hour event organized through Saint Mary’s University where local experts measure the biodiversity---birds, animals and plant species---in a particular area. Students and local community members are encouraged to participate to foster awareness and education of biodiversity and conservation of local wildlife species. In addition to the species survey, expect presentations, displays and activities, many of which to take place at the base camp, St. James Church, 3811 Old Sambro Road, from 10am-3pm. –Carsten Knox
