Good Robot Brewing Company is where some great beer is made and poured (see Best Craft Brewery), but it’s also a great spot to hang out. “Our followers love Just Vorlafs comedy show,” says co-owner Josh Counsil, referring to a regular event that earned GRBC silver in Best Comedy Night category. “They love silent reading, they love the Goodwill Bot nights.” The brewery/tap room calls Robie Street near Almon home, not exactly an area known for its bars and pubs, but Counsil thinks that may soon change. “I hear rumours of some more opening up, which is great,” he says.
