Good news over here: Salvatore’s is getting a new stone oven. In fact, by the time you read this, they might already have it. So why should you care about their new appliances? Because they’ll be able to make that killer pizza a whole lot faster, duh. They’ve cleaned up in this category for the 10th year in a row, so I think it goes without saying that they know what they’re doing. Owner Chris Cuddihy says Salvatore’s original pizza—garlic-infused extra virgin olive oil, signature tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and herbs—is still the fave. He says it’s the way you should eat pizza—at least if you’re trying somewhere for the first time—because there are no toppings to hide under: “If you get it without anything hiding our sauce, our cheese, our crust and how we put it together, then it’s a surprise because it’s really good.”
