With all the pasta being dished out around town, it’s quite a coup to be singled out as the place that serves the very best pasta in the SuperCity. “Our most popular pasta item on the menu has to be the ravioli stuffed with chicken and wild mushroom in a crème sauce,” says manager Sean Neil. “It’s incredibly rich and sinful, but if food is going to kill you this is worth dying for.” Neil reports that when new patrons come in to Il Mercato once, they are hooked for life: “We are the narcotics of the food industry on Spring Garden Road.”
