The last remaining businesses of 6100 Young Street have been disappearing over the summer, all in the name of the block’s upcoming redevelopment into residential/retail space. But Michael’s Bar & Grill cuts the deepest—not just for its food and drinks, but also for its important role as a live music venue. The end of August marks Michael’s final days for the time being. While the goal is for the bar to reopen, it hasn’t yet found a location to do so. So for now, owner Gerry Duffy sends thank-yous to Michael’s dedicated customers and staff. And we say see you later, instead of goodbye, to a great room.
