Incompetent, egostistical and stupid drivers: get off your lazy, incompetent, egotistical, stupid asses and WALK!

As a student living in Halifax, I get 90 percent of the places I need to go by walking. However, I may be forced to reconsider after the two times I almost lost my life in the last month thanks to a few stupid drivers who feel that their coffee, their cigarettes and their cellphones are more important than everyone else's lives on the road, or in case of one REALLY incompetent and stupid driver on a cellphone, the lives of the two kids in her car.

I'm in a freakin' crosswalk, and I walk unusually fast (there are several who have testified to this). Can you at least wait until I'm even halfway across your side of the road before you get inches towards me and almost cause me a freakin' heart attack at age 21? My god, I'm just glad you're doing this to me and not somebody who might actually have a heart attack, or worse actually running someone over. Pull your heads out of your asses and PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU DRIVE!

Driving is a privilege, not a right, that should only be awarded to those who able. The fact that your bf/gf is yelling at you over the phone, you're late for work school or whatever doesn't give you the right to break the law. The fact that you're willing to risk killing somebody for you own selfish and stupid reasons disgusts me. If you end up hitting someone because you were speeding, or on you cell, is telling yourself "I was late for work" gonna make you feel any better or get you out of jail? I sure freakin' hope the answer is no. —Traumatized Pedestrian
