Rockbottom’s popular Thursday night open mic standby has you all perfecting how to tune with shaky hands. This is Rockbottom’s second Gold in this category, too. “Halifax has such a great influx of talented new musicians, it’s pretty much the only reason we’ve been able to host the open mic for that long,” says Rockbottom’s Phyl LaFerriere. “We’re very proud to be part of the local music scene, I mean, there’s so much talent in this city, it’s incredible.”
