Noelle’s a local business, nestled in Waverley, though it doesn’t have a retail storefront that you’ll be able to find, and it ships across the country and to places as far flung as California and Germany. “We just do custom orders and we only do cookies,” says owner Noelle Milligan. The cookies have kept her busy growing a customer and fan base, with local service still the mainstay. “I started out as a stay-at-home mom looking to earn a little extra money and have grown to a four employee operation that now counts some of Halifax’s biggest corporations among its list of clients.” The cookies are a ginger/molasses, some are undecorated---called bundles---but most can be custom made any way you like.
