Just when we didn’t think it was possible, I Heart Bikes (1507 Lower Water Street, 406-7774) has become an even brighter spot on the boardwalk. Sarah Craig’s amazing bike rental, city tour and retail shop has recently upgraded its digs, after out-growing the little hut it operated out of for the past two seasons. And we heart its new home so much!

This summer, Craig and co. have moved into a re-purposed 40-foot shipping container (painted a summery shade of lime green to match its eco-friendliness) that’s located a little further north on the waterfront, at the Sands at Salter (1507 Lower Water Street). In honour of Bike Week, we thought we’d encourage you cyclists to make some noise, via these hand-painted bells ($24.99, from dringdring in Montreal). I Heart Bikes also has a heck of a lot going on in the way of Bike Week festivities, click here for more on that.
