Goals and Issues

Transportation and planned development are Doug's main concerns. He calls the bus service in his region a "business service" because it runs twice a day: in the early morning and after work. He wants more roads and infrastructure. He also says that safe drinking water is an issue because many people use dug wells in his area.

On the record

"I will win. I just want make sure I get 70% of the vote."

Affiliations

As a small businessman, Doug has been involved in the St Margaret's Bay Business Association and the St Margaret's Bay Regional Tourism Association. He was a founding member of the St Margaret's Bay Chamber of Commerce. He also belongs to the Whynacht's Cove Environmental Society and Relay for Life. He did not list a political affiliation.
