Crimson Clover consignment opens downtown

New boutique on Birminham Street

On September 8 Stacey Thompson and Jennifer McGrath opened a new boutique called Crimson Clover (1351 Birmingham Street, near the corner of Birmingham and Clyde, 492-8677). They specialize in modern "work wear" for men and women along with party dresses and a wicked designer denim selection. Shoes range from comfortable walking Clarks to four inch Marc Jacobs heels. "We have been getting a great response so far especially from the residents of Birmingham Street and the surrounding area," says Thompson. "One of our customers named us 'used clothing for the rich and famous,' and we liked it so much it's on our sandwich board." Hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
