Stacey Thompson knows her designers. After honing her eye for the fashionable at Crimson Clover Boutique (1469 Birmingham Street), she’s branched out on her own—to both sides of the bridge—opening Room 152 (152 Portland Street) and Brilliant Clothing Boutique (1539 Birmingham Street, the former Twisted Muse) with the help of Sarah Kingston, former Crimson Clover manager, and Debra Wells Hopey.
Both shops will sell gently-used and brand-new clothing and accessories from the likes of Frye, Smythe and Michael Kors, but instead of using a consignment system will purchase items outright, as well as offering store credit in exchange—for those of you seeking a wardrobe makeover.
“I love what I do and want to continue to offer Halifax and Dartmouth quality items at affordable prices,” says Thompson. “This is such a fun way to do business, you never know what is going to walk through the door.”
