The Red Turtle screening

Hope Blooms, the youth gardening project and community builder, is bringing back its outdoor film screenings for another summer! Called the Viola Desmond Outdoor Movie Theatre, it screens free flicks every Thursday after sundown—complete with a free barbecue and popcorn. This week, it's The Red Turtle: The Oscar-nominated French-Japanese cartoon is totally wordless and follows a shipwrecked man's life-changing encounter with a red turtle.
