Lisa Drader-Murphy loves Halifax. The fashion bigwig sells her trademark soft silhouettes and creative prints her shop's five different locations, including in Toronto’s fashion mecca Queen Street West. Her main spot, though, remains downtown, a proclamation of love to the town she chose in the mid-nineties: “I’m proud our flagship remains in Halifax and that we grew the lion’s share of our business here,” the designer says. A gold win in Best of Halifax shows the feeling’s mutual.
