Lace, chiffon and tulle—these are fabrics Katrina Tuttle knows well. Almost two years ago, the fashion designer shifted her full-time attention to bridal gowns. With a new by-appointment boutique on Spring Garden offering custom, handmade designs, Tuttle certainly has a full schedule.“It’s been such a fun journey,” she says. “It picked up really quickly.” Amongst opening the store and expanding her business, Tuttle found time to make a hefty dress collection. Lately, she’s been focusing on two-piece gowns, designed so that brides can re-wear a piece for another special event, like an anniversary.
