We thought Lulu Healy would never top the summer of 2014, when she brought St. Vincent to the waterfront at the height of her robotic, guitar-manipulating art-rock powers. But then came Lauryn Hill. Hill took the stage predictably late, sat down with a classical guitar and joylessly commanded her band through three songs until a thunderstorm shut it all down for an hour. She returned on her feet and electrified, spitting pure fire in amongst her own classics and Fugees hits. The crowd stayed, soaked and agape, for a show that’s already become a legend.

Police reports say it probably wasn’t a local who laced the clam chowder with PCP on the set of Titanic. Whodunit?
