Thumpers’ stunning spectacle at this year’s Nocturne was enough to stop you in the street. Gorgeous ladies with larger-than-life hair were illuminated in the windows of the downtown salon, primped and styled for the city to see. It was some pretty hot stuff. Getting a ’do from Thumpers is a lot like a small-scale version of their window display, it’s attention grabbing wearable art. Mix that with the “awesome atmosphere” and “amazing service” BOH voters comment on, and you begin to understand why Thumpers nabs top marks in this category for the ninth time.
