Best Barber

It was the best of times and the worst of times for Phat Luong, who always jokes he offers “The Best Lousy Haircut in Halifax.” He was voted Best Barber in town in 2010, but he’s also had his front window smashed in a random act of vandalism, twice in the past 12 months. That led to a heavier grade of glass and video monitoring, which he says set him back $7,000, but protects his investment. The haircuts are still damn reasonable, though.
