Partying with The Jimmy Swift Band

Saturday night brings your first chance to party with the boys in months---and it's going to be a loud one.

After some low-key time spent on their own projects, The Jimmy Swift Band members Craig Mercer, Aaron Collier, Mike MacDougall and Doug Cameron land at the Paragon Saturday to make you sweat, dance and remember why you came back for more. "We have been taking a bit of time to work on other projects as of late," writes Mercer via email, while nursing a cold the week before the show. "Sometimes you need to step away from something for a while to realize how special it is, and I guess that is what we have all done. JSB has a really special place in the music scene in Canada---really loyal fans that always keep us coming back." The band's just finishing up a new double album---half new material, half remixes---which they'll sample on the weekend. "We are going to be auditioning a bunch of brand new songs Saturday as well, which is always fun---if you don't fuck them up." With Grand Theft Bus and The Town Heroes on the bill, it'll be a solid show.
