Boots for Flying is the sophomore effort from Musquodoboit Harbour’s own Mike Trask & Mudhill. With their debut The Show still ringing in the ears of Haligonian audiences, thanks to awards showcases and festivals, loyal fans have built a strong following based on word-of-mouth promotion. Boots for Flying faithfully captures the talent and intensity of the band’s live performances. Tracks such as the sweltering “Brass Trombone” or the scintillating “Jokin’” demonstrate how dramatically the band has evolved since The Show. Considering how this is only the band’s second outing, Mike Trask & Mudhill have a long career ahead of them.
