Halo: Reach

Releasing in the fall of 2010, Halo: Reach looks promising. Currently in a beta stage which ends May 19, all you need to play is a Halo: ODST disc and plenty of free time. The big changes? New weapons, equipment, game modes, customizable armour and matchmaking, which will probably be copied by every future online game. The upgrade is everything you could ask for and certainly brings back the mad fun of Halo LAN parties, but if you’ve dropped Halo 3 or ODST for a “higher octane” first-person shooter, don’t bother. I’ve had some fun playing the beta but it just doesn’t have the power to make me put my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 disc away. I’ll miss you, needler.
