Since gaining exposure from the inclusion of her “LA Song” in Beverly Hills 90210, Beth Hart has released three albums of gospel- and blues-infused rock that keep more centre than left while at the same time sparking comparisons to Janis Joplin. Leave The Light On maintains that trend but shows a little more rawk in Hart’s soul, kicking out a few gutsier numbers in “Monkey Back” and “Lifts You Up.” She saves the best for last, with the stirring “Sky Full Of Clover” and “If God Only Knew.”
