The Wanted 18

Canadians, Arabs and Jews for a Just Peace, Independent Jewish Voices Halifax and The Radical Imagination Project present this screening of The Wanted 18. The documentary tells the story of one of the most bizarre happenings of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through stop-motion claymation, drawings, archival footage and interviews. The incident The Wanted 18 explores is evidence that truth is indeed stranger than fiction. After being deemed a national security threat, a Palestinian dairy cooperative has to harbour fugitives–eighteen cows on the lam from the Israeli government.
