The Irish are infamously rowdy, but this traditional pub is a sweet study find. The third floor, or the Snug, features private rooms where you can hide out and close the door, and there's wifi, too.

"People come and study here all the time," says a Gatsby's employee. And with good reason: The pub is quiet, has cheap grub for study breaks and offers free wireless internet.

It's like a quieter, less busy version of the upstairs Your Father's Moustache. The group seating and restaurant atmosphere make it better suited for study groups, and there's no wifi to distract when one of your buddies decides YouTube is better than biochem.

If you're one of those people who likes to study with a bit of background music, try the Red Stag. It has live music from Wednesday to Saturday but is also very roomy, so if you'd like things a little quieter, it's easy to find a nice corner away from the stage. There's no wifi, which is good for those of us who tend to drift from our e-notes to Facebook too easily.
