Whether it’s fall, winter or sprummer (that’s spring+summer) Halifax Sport and Social Club has your social and sporty needs covered. There’re over 25 different activities to chose from, with HSSC adding turf sports to the lineup this year. Nicole Carlson, HSSC’s sport manager, says over 5,000 people play in their leagues. “I think it’s our social component that sets us apart,” she says. “Everything we do is co-ed, so we involve a ton of people from the community. We have an awesome team both on the ground in Halifax and a national team across the country that supports us.”
