The membership—over 5,000 strong—at Dooly’s pool hall on Portland Street is “forever-changing,” says district supervisor Tracey Goodyear. “Once everybody turns 19 they kind of pop in, so it’s forever growing. But then we also have our extremely loyal clientele…people who’ve been coming here for 15 years.” Dedication to cleanliness and good customer service sets this location apart, says Goodyear. “Considering the amount of traffic we have, the staff are so good at keeping it to a certain standard.”
