By virtue of its location on the waterfront, Salty’s caters to tourists. Naturally, tourists want lobster and Salty’s offers up an affordable lobster sandwich. Not really a roll, this lobster is served on housemade white bread. Patti Robertson, Salty’s General Manager chalks it up to the simplicity of the sandwich. “We use good lobster meat, chunky meat, not drowned in mayo,” she says. “It tastes nice and fresh.” She agrees that tourists like it, “It’s not as intimidating as a whole lobster, this way. They can have experience the taste without all the work.”
