The hip hop event at the Marquee last weekend was not only awesome but long overdue. It's been so long since anyone who actually has a recent album out, let alone a rapper, has come to this town. I want to thank After Dark Entertainment for putting on a great show and for giving the hip hop scene a much needed chance to get together. After party at the Argyle was great, shout outs to DJ IV. It finally makes sense to me why I don't like the downtown scene, it's just not my scene. If there were more events like these I probably wouldn't be thinking about moving to another city as often, and I'd support local businesses/venues more. Thank you to everyone involved!
