The familiar Torrens continues to appear in films, short and long, and as Robert Cheeley on Mr.D, but he has other thoughts in respect to this year’s repeat win. “I’m so flattered to be recognized with this honour by Coast readers and would like to dedicate this award to John Dunsworth,” he says. “I’ve never met anyone more generous with his time and talent, more nurturing of young performers or more dedicated to his craft. John was truly an actor...the rest of us just tried to keep up and not get in the way.”
