For 22 years, P’lovers has been the city’s beloved eco-store, one of the first of its kind in Canada and an exemplary made-in-Halifax environmental success story, up there with being early to municipal green box composting. But there’s been a lot of change at the store. In spring 2014, longtime employee Shelby Lendrum bought the business from co-founders Ann Caverzan and Liz Crocker, and she opened another shop in Dartmouth. However, P’lovers lovers don’t have to worry. Change is natural and necessary, especially in the envirosphere. After all, P’lovers is out to change the world.
