Why I'm Moving West
|
Many employer's are idiots! Myself and all my friends suffer from a disease I didn't know about. It's called being too qualified. What the hell? When was this a bad thing? I'm going to the West because they think differently. Employer's out there are not worried that you will 'out-shine' them. They know that hiring the absolute best makes them look good to. And here's the main difference between the east and west. In the East they look at you and think, "how much are you going to cost me?" In the west they think, "how much am I going to make off you." They know that risk is part of success. Here everyone just wants to hold onto what they have and never take chances. So an over-qualified person, like myself will be seen as a way to make the company more money and help the company look better. Not as someone who will outshine everyone else and take away jobs. Grow up employer's of Halifax! You're losing the best people and hiring dumber one's more and more often. We see it everywhere. And in the end you will lose your job. Because your place of work will be so stuffed with idiot's that the business will go under!
