just got to say that i’m a little disappointed with the dog people this winter… not anyone’s favorite to see or step in all the little brown nuggets all over the park – as you enter the park next to the BAGGIE stand, mixed with festive yellow snow further down the path, in the woods as you try to avoid icy paths, on the islands in the middle of the lake… really, does winter make it ok not to pick up after your dog or does it just highlight how very responsible people are the rest of the year? just sayin’ and y’all know it’s true… —just sayin’

  1. I’m scared to comment. Will the mod please give some direction as to which way the comments are to be directed.

  2. Blame the dogshit on white, capitalist cis-male scum and you should be on safe ground.

  3. I for one blame the patriarchy, the dogs are obviously male and they feel entitled to poop wherever they like. Is this comment OK, Mod? I hope I haven’t offended your delicate sensibilities.

    Sure is quiet around here…

  4. I think someone has been feeding the squirrels All Bran cereal and the poor little buggers are dropping, what is for them, massive fecal formations.

  5. It is quiet, Hoist.
Perhaps the moderator will consider reinstating all the regulars that she has banned today.
To show that words and ideas can be disagreed with, debated, ridiculed. But are not to be feared.
In short, to show that faith in human resilience in the face of uncomfortable ideas that our esteemed Prime Minister seems to think we lack. Because his detractors certainly seem to think that we, the mass, are a lot stronger than that.

  6. Don’t hold your breath Titus, I don’t think this moderator has the intellectual maturity required to deal with people who have idea’s that are contrary to hers.

  7. I don’t get this. Winter, one would think, would be the ideal time to pick up dog shit. It freezes fast and stinks less. If people won’t pick up this time of year, they ain’t picking up.

  8. I will delete all dogs so as to resolve the problem. Besides, I don’t like what they say.

  9. A QUESTION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Yes, I think you’ve got it. It’s not a matter of winter making it ok not to pick up after your dog but rather it just highlights how very “responsible” people are the rest of the year. I must say I found your irony delicious.

    A pleasure as always,

    Cheerio!
