Remarks: The offending wires have been left to flutter in the breeze near the Centennial Swimming Pool parking lot, exposed ends and all. There doesn’t appear to be any live power flowing through the abandoned cables, but we still wouldn’t recommend chewing on them or putting them anywhere near your face. Anyway, that hardly seems the point —even if the wires aren’t dangerous, they’re still powerfully ugly (no pun intended). Frankly, we find this kind of brazen carelessness totally shocking (pun absolutely intended).
