Easter Weekend is upon us. For some, it’s a time of religious significance. For others, it’s a nice break after the end-of-fiscal-year hijinks.

Thankfully, Halifax isn’t short on events to participate in over the weekend. Egg hunts, block parties, community dinners and more are all planned to go ahead, and we’ll be listing all the events we know of that are happening in the city to celebrate.

Friday, April 3

Bunny Bounce Mini Block Party: This one is for the adults. The second night of the Bunny Bounce Block Party is going ahead on Friday evening, starting at 5pm and going until the sun rises. Expect bright vibes with beats from DJ Beefy and DJ Jimi to keep you on the dance floor. Taking place at The Roxbury. $5 cover.

Easter Weekend Party: A late-night experience with good music, energy and an active dancefloor. Going from 11pm to 3:30am at the Auction House. Tickets are $18.64.

Saturday, April 4

Bunnyland: Come down to the Mic Mac Mall for the last day of Bunnyland. Grab a photo with the Easter Bunny themselves, with proceeds supporting Dreams Take Flight Atlantic. Open from 12pm-5pm with breaks in between.

Easter Bunny at Dartmouth Crossing: The Village Shops are welcoming the Easter Bunny for one last visit on April 4. They’ll be hanging out in the Bunny Burrow within the red house across from the Pondside Ampitheatre, available from 12pm-4pm and again from 5pm-8pm. Grab a free photo, chocolate, and giveaways from the shops.

Easter Bunny at Sunnyside Mall: The Easter Bunny will be hanging out at the Sunnyside Mall from 10am-12pm and again from 1pm-4pm. Pictures are $5 each with proceeds going to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

I Spy Easter: An Easter party at the Playdium in Dartmouth. For $10, kids can enjoy an I Spy search game, a game band, a bunny craft kit and of course, pictures with the Easter Bunny. Going from 11am to 2pm.

Easter Cookie Decorating with Tiana and Rapunzel: Join these princesses for a magical princess cookie decorating party at the Bedford-Hammonds Plains Community Centre from 10:30am-11:30am.
