Drivers of Halifax stop trying to drive through yellow lights at intersections at busy times of day! Twice in one day I had to walk around cars that got stuck in the middle of the intersection because they were in a hurry to make the light. If there is no room for you don’t go! Not only do you stop me from walking but the cars trying to cross the other way who now actually have a green light cannot go because you are blocking them. Smart move. This happens almost everyday and I’m getting sick of it. Learn to drive. Next time it’s my turn to walk I’m going to stand in front of your damn car so you can’t go and see how you like it. —Tired of Idiot Drivers

Also it’s illegal to block an intersection.
What I find irritating is that a lot of these blocked intersections are not necessarily caused by people squeezing through the yellow light, but by people figuring that if they have a green light, they must go, even if it means blocking the intersection. Wait til it’s clear, even if you have green you imbeciles!!
But what REALLY annoys me is when intelligent drivers do this (i.e. wait for the intersection to clear before going on a green) and idiots turning right onto the same street figure that since you’re not going, it’s their chance, and then they block the intersection for you, pedestrians, and everyone else. gah!!

My words exactly! It’s those pricks taking the RH turn on a red light that gets my shit hot during rush hour. I’d have no other choice but to block the intersection. But I don’t plan on being one of those assholes either.
So, you had to walk AROUND the car… around it… taking more than the usual 40 steps to cross, it took you 50…
and then if they do stop, they will get chewed out by you, or the other traffic meister. get fucking bent, asshole. by the way, when you see the blood red 69 charger, with the rebel flag on the front plate, get the fuck out of my way. you will hear my rebel horn blast behind you.
I love the shrug you get when you, the driver who now has a green light, cannot proceed because their big vehicle is in the way. What’s that shrug supposed to mean— I can’t help being a fucking asshole?
