Well, MM, they are a collection of individuals, yet are also ONE united soul that encompasses all that there is. Thus, they are a UNIVERSAL soul.
Much like myself, who, as an angel, exists not in bodily form, but rather in the ethereal realm (most of the time).
I live in a pond.

Yes, I see. A collection of individuals yet also one united soul that encompasses all that there is. But that is ontology, the nature of their reality whereas my question was existential, the nature of their experience. It sought to discover their experiential qualities which, while no doubt related to their ontology, is not identical with it, i.e., those sharing an ontology need not have identical experiences. Think of human beings.
In your own case, existing as an angel, do you find that this interferes with your bodily experiences in general and your sexual experiences in particular? Is that why, from time to time, you take on a bodily form? Write back soon.

It appears to me that all people are former angels who have taken on (or who have been cast into) a temporary bodily form for the sole purpose of experiencing all the joys and pains that physical (“embodied”) life has to offer.
The purpose of life is to learn about life.
At the end, we all collect up our lesson notes (memories) and go back to being angels again.
(Oh, and we don’t all have to live in the Tarsands; that’s just one of many options. Hawaii is also nice.)
