I love this post. I love you and I hope this city changes for you soon.
I wish this weren’t the case. I hope things are getting better but wonder about where in Canada and elsewhere trans girls might feel safe. I’m not being glib; OP I am googling to see if there are any studies published on more progressive cities in terms of safety, security and acceptance as I imagine there are a lot of people with the same ( and very valid) bitch, elsewhere. All the best to you. I wish you a life where you can be you–happy, safe and secure.
O.P, if your life has been threatened, call the police. I don’t think there’s a trans community utopia. So, unfortunately you will have to deal with shitty people anywhere you go. But you definitely shouldn’t be in a city were you feel you might be murdered. Has that been a problem in this city? I could be wrong but I haven’t really heard anything about trans people being murdered. I hope you find peace.
