I know it’s a little past the season, but thinking back it’s still pisses me off. I’m sick of all these anti-religious activists that are trying to get Christmas removed from everything. It might not be as bad in Canada as it is in the States, but seriously folks. Christmas is fucking Christmas.
We all know that it’s the primary holiday of the season, and I’m not trying to say that Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or the Winter Solstice aren’t just as important, just not as well known. I’m not religious, not by any means, but I do celebrate Christmas and the stupid attempts to make the holiday season more “politically correct” are redundant. Everyone knows it’s close to Christmas, so why try to remove it? I’m pretty sure that stores or anyone that displays Christmas paraphernalia is not asking you to get on bended knee and worship a God you don’t believe in. Heck, Christmas is barely about religion anymore, it’s mostly about giving and kindness (except for those rude fuckers that always think they’re above everyone else, but that’s off topic) Stop trying to take all the fun out of the season!

I agree! All this political correctness is getting a bit ridiculous. As long as people arent forcing their religion down my throat and threatening me about how I’ll someday burn in hell if I dont attend church, like those door to door fanatics (or my aunt!), I believe people should just respect eachother’s differences.Anyway, I dont feel I have to believe that Jesus Christ was the ‘Son of God’ in order to respect the good intentions he had for the world and thus celebrate Christmas.
Worst Case of Ridiculous Politically Correct Enforcement: Mall Santa’s not allowed to say “Ho Ho Ho” as it has been deemed offensive to women…I thought that this was a fake, but apparently it is for real. Ho Ho Ho is Santa’s trademark call not a disparaging comment, enough is enough.
