Last week I went with my girlfriend to a certain general store in downtown Halifax. The girlfriend was looking for a shirt or something. A salesperson was helping her. The whole time the owner was talking to the salesperson about this, that, and the other, to do with the store. She never said a word to us. Even when my girlfriend was paying for the shirt the owner was still going on. The salesperson clearly felt uncomfortable about the owner’s actions.
This is not the way to run a business. Talk business with your employees when they are not trying to sell your stuff. Will not be going back.
