I am from Haiti, and I would like the Canadian people, and the international community, to know that I am grateful for everything you all are doing to help my country. On behalf of the Haitian people : Thank you!

i have just stumbled across your post by accident, two days and no comments, terrible. well friend, let me send you one, it is a tragedy that your country had an earthquake, amore tragedy that people are homeless now for it. but it is a very sad and damning thing to hear of all the people that died, due to said quake.too many people don’t really know how bad these things are, i was in japan in the early 70’s, in the navy. we had one there that scared the living hell out of me.and it was only about a 4 or so on the scale. if you feel you need to vent personally, my email is gary_more@hotmail.com. hopefully you can collect a bit of your past life, from the ruins that is your country. we in canada are trying our very best, to aid you. but with over half our forces in afghanistan, that aid is somewhat slower. we are not a rich country by world standards, but we try to do what we can to help others.we have even started to adopt the kids that have no parents or relatives still left alive there. i know this won’t help rebuild, but at least some will have a place to live, and someone to take care of them. the only thing that really bothers me is the stealing and the criminals there, trying to take away from those that need it, for their own selfish gain. keep strong, and hope for a better tomorrow, that’s all i can offer you at this time.
your sweet sucks
“R”, I don’t know what to say.
I know that each of our individual contributions is a drop in the bucket compared to what your people and nation will need over the next few years.
Thank you for letting us know that some of the relief is getting through to those who need it.
We are thinking about you every day.
yes paingirl, i know.
I have friends from Haiti, who have shared their pain and grief, not just from this natural disaster, but from the disaster that is their homeland, called Haiti.
Through no fault of theirs, these people have endured a life-time of pain, grief and misery. Maybe now, the rest of the worls will become sympathetic to their plight.
