I think cycling to work is great and love seeing people on bikes BUT at around 9:30 AM this morning I was walking up Salter Street from Barrington when I heard someone frantically yell “HEY HEY HEY.”  It was some nutbar on a bicycle barrelling down the middle of the wet street at a ridiculous speed (possibly exceeding the speed limit). He was yelling at a pedestrian who was crossing along Argyle at a normal walking pace. The pedestrian was already halfway through the intersection so definitely had the right of way in the first place. If the cyclist had struck the pedestrian he would have caused some serious injury to the pedestrian – not to mention himself.    Message to this  and other kamikaze cyclists: it’s up to you if you wnat to take your own lfie into your hands but you can do some serious damage or even kill a pedestrian with your reckless behaviour.  Grow the frick up! Now! — Walking man

  1. Yes, pedestrians have a habit of walking out into the middle of a street, assuming they are safe/have the right-of-way. It is indeed annoying to us cyclists!

  2. Good one, Hoist, especially if his balls went thucka-thucka-thucka against the spokes.

  3. If it was wet, and the walker was prudent, a quick brolly through the spokes would hasten the ignorant lycra wearing cunt to the QE2, if dry, a good push has the same effect. While mutant is crying about broken bones etc. you smartly relieve him/her of iPod, iPad, phone, lunch, wallet/purse etc as you unzip your fly and urinate on aforementioned cunt.

  4. Meaty, I’m pro cyclist and even I side with OB here. Unmarked intersections are still crosswalks and pedestrians have the right of way. I pretty much ride the brake when I’m cycling down those steep hills.

  5. Crayons! Please, don’t make me get that restraining order. I’m gay; you can’t fuck me!

  6. SML… I was only trying to grind the gears of those who read this shite…

Read my bio and my 679 other comments; you’ll get it (though oddly, some don’t)…

  7. Oh. Yeah I don’t keep track of posting patterns, save PK’s but that’s mostly due to her unprecedented oaf-like diatribes. Noted, though.
