Why aren’t more people talking about the fact that the Canada Revenue Agency is auditing the Sierra Club?! The CRA is blatantly telling the media it’s examining for “excessive political activity”. Citizens should be outraged! We’re losing our freedom of rights. —Losing hope

  1. They are doing that to every charity that engages in excessive political activity. Maybe they need to focus on their mission instead? Oh, and worry more as the remedy is usually the loss of charity status.

  6. its rights AND freedoms…two distinctly separate entities. Freedom of rights…sounds more like “im entitled to my entitlements” in leiue of what rights and freedoms really are.

  7. It’s a concern because the government has clearly been targeting groups that don’t align with their policies.

  8. LOL, let’s all stand in awe at the moral high ground of the Harper government. The PMO embroiled in scandal, and they’re worried about a charity using their evil, tax free money to be “too political” by questioning the direction our country is going on many issues. Thank you, Mr. Harper, for making sure that everyone lives up to your, and your government’s, level of honesty and integrity.
